Calderdale Council’s Cabinet has approved proposals for a state-of-the-art leisure centre in Halifax. Recommendations from Cabinet will now go to full Council for a decision on the proposed next steps for the project.

Plans for the fourth project in the £120m, A629 improvement programme between Halifax and Huddersfield are moving forward, following approvals by the West Yorkshire Combined Authority’s Investment Committee.
Plans are progressing for the proposed new business park in Clifton near Brighouse, as the planning application for the project has now been submitted.
